And another windy Tuesday ahead. The wind past Ventura is down to 9mph. Come on out and let's meet at the SeaCliff exit, parking on the coast. Make a left off the freeway and follow signs to beach parking. Left under freeway and right onto the main parking street. CVC, Out of an abundance of caution, we are cancelling rides for Sunday as well. If you ride out there, please be extra careful, there is A LOT of debris in the road that comes up suddenly. From branches, to trees and trash. The winds will be back tomorrow. Please stay safe. As a convenience to our members who have been without power for days, we are extending the closing of the on line store until the 15th. Please place your orders by then. Dawn still has the samples if you want to arrange with her for any sample and size fittings. Saturday Rides Cancelled-see info

CVC, This is crazy scary out here. So many are suffering devastating losses. Many roads are closed and many are now starting to close. This situation is chaotic, and we are cancelling the official rides for Saturday. If any of you are available and want to ride, just show up at 8:30 and by then you can as a group decide which route to take to ride based on Saturday's situation. As of today, no Mullholland, No Stunt, No Piuma, Not even Kanan at this moment. In the meantime, please stay safe.and we will be in touch. -- Sheri

On line store and fitting

Hi All, I hope this finds you and your family safe. Due to the fires and the power outages, we are extending our on line store closing by 2 days. Please have your orders in by the 14th of January. The website for ordering is: teamstore.agile-sportswear.com/store/conejo-valley-cyclists/ And if you missed the fit nights due to the fires, or powers, or general mess, Dawn has graciously offered, (again) her home to try on the styles and sizes on an "as needed" basis. You MUST call and schedule a time that works with her. Here is her phone to text: 805 402-8327 Remember, once these samples are returned, we will not have them again. So for now, or your future, it is good to know your sizes. Don't forget to order by NEXT TUESDAY! Club Clothing: Store now open and try on dates THIS WEEK

Happy New Year CVC! New Year and New Kit time!! WOOHOO! Yes, a different look for sure and we are super excited about it. Can't wait to LOOK like a club! Every club that has the members dressed alike looks SO much cooler!!!! You do not want to be the odd person out!!!! The majority of our members voted for this kit and now with all of the accessories, we have a true winner. You WILL be seen and you will look good, AND make your club look good. Our Member Dawn Foley, who is totally cheering on this new venture, has graciously volunteered to have two "fit nights" at her home. That gives you TWO different chances to try on the clothing. The clothing company has sent samples, (of course not *our* exact kit, but try on kits). We have most all sizes. It is a good time to try the fit that is right for you. Everything is available with and without a bib, and there are sleeveless jerseys for summer, (no samples) but they fit the same as the regular jersey. The sleeveless jersey looks like a vest in the picture, but the vest is very different. These vests are great, by the way. They fold up into the pocket. Look carefully at the order form. There are also 3/4 length bottoms as well as full bottoms. I will attach the final pics! You do NOT have to go to the try on time, you can just order on line if you would like without trying on at your own but there are no returns for custom orders. After trying on, you can do your ordering on line, on your own with your selection. This is the same company we have used in the past so that may help you in already knowing your sizing. Our first try on time is THIS SATURDAY from 2:00-5:00. I know I should not have to say this, but please come showered from the ride to try on items. (Please do not show at 4:55) We need to respect Dawn's time. The second time is Wednesday Evening from 5:00-7:00. After that, the samples will be mailed back to the company. Tuesday-Away ride

Happy First Full week of January, Tuesday is predicted to be very windy here in Conejo, so we are taking a field trip. Going to meet at Padaro Lane, Garden Market, (please stay for lunch)... We will be riding into Santa Barbara and doing the mountain, Tuckers Grove in Goleta and return route back through beautiful Hope Ranch.
