Hi Everyone,
It's starting to rain here so I am cancelling the official ride. Those that choose to ride be safe and have fun!
See you next Sunday,
Dale
Hi all,
It looks like we may get rain tonight and into the morning, but it doesn't look like much until Tuesday.
So, if the roads are wet and not in the process of drying out when you wake up, consider the Sunday club rides cancelled.
However, those who wish to, may meet and ride on their own.
Thanks,
Cam

When: 8:00-8:25 am.
Where: The Landing (CVC ride start location)
In the spirit of giving back to this great community we live in, CVC
will be collecting from 8:00-8:25am for the “Thanksgiving for all”
campaign put on every year by Manna. For more than a decade Manna has
provided a holiday “care pack” containing all the fixings for a
traditional Thanksgiving dinner to struggling families in the Conejo
Valley.
Unlike many food pantries in the area, Manna is not formally affiliated
with any religious organization, nor are they federally funded in any
way. In fact, Manna exists almost entirely on private donations of food
and funding. More than 95% of the food Manna distributes each year is
donated by organizations, businesses and individuals from around the
Conejo Valley. Funding is provided through generous donors and grant
writing efforts.
Some Top Priority Items are…
1. Thanksgiving Pies
2. Canned White Beans
3. Chicken Broth
4. Soup - all kinds
5. Juice
6. Boxed Potatoes
7. Ramen / Cup o Noodles
8. Mayonnaise
9. Cereal- hot & cold
10. Crackers/Cookies
All items will be taken and dropped off at Manna after the completion of
Saturday’s rides. (@ 11a.m.). If you wish to donate but can’t make it,
please visit http://www.mannaconejo.org/. Who knows, maybe you’ll be
helping out the next great cyclist.

Come on out and ride Wednesday! The sun promises to shine, and the wind will
be calm, and you need a weekday spin of the legs if you have been working
this week!
We will be ready to ride at 3:30 from the Landing at a GOLD+ avg. of 15+, up
to Hidden Valley and turning around at Hidden Valley Road. We spin fast, and
enjoy our short time out there. It is far better than a spin class! We will
get about 19 miles in round trip.
Please let me know if you are coming so I can look for you in the lot. I
will park close to the entrance.
As with any other CVC ride, please arrive with water, helmet.
CVC Inclement Weather Policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is
either actively raining, excessively windy, or the ride route has wet roads,
it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose
to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be

Come on out and try it!
See you ready to roll by 3:30!
