& Agoura Road (North East Corner)
*****Route: Hidden Valley, Dos Vientos, Multi use path, La Granada and
back. 33 miles, 2,400' climbing.
**
Hey Gold Riders,
Let's do the Hidden Valley, Dos Vientos loop. Special note: The section
of Reino Rd starting from Borchard up to Lynn is always a nervous area.
The road is narrow and traveled heavily. There is a way going through
the residential streets behind Albertson's shopping center and will put
us out where Reino Road opens up to Lynn Rd. Lets try this bypass and
see how it goes. View the link for more info.
Route: Around Westlake, Hidden Valley, Dos Vientos, Lynn Road,
Greenmeadow Ave, through the multi use path to Rancho Rd, La Granada,
Pentagon Park and back to the finish.
Here is the RideWithGPS link where you can view the route, print out a
map and cue sheet: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/436072
The Gold ride is an intermediate recreational ride, 30 to 40 miles in
length with an average pace of 14+ mph. It is not a "no drop" ride but
as always let's try to stick together as much as possible.
Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Bl.(between the
street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the
Shops/Market. If we don't respect the requests of the lease tenants, we
could be asked to park elsewhere.
After the ride, please join us at one of the many refueling options
available at the finish such as Natural Cafe', Sea Casa, East Coast
Bagel, Sprouts Market, etc..

either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club
policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and
ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an
official club ride./
See you Saturday!
