Be sure to thank your ride leaders, and if you see them a little low on energy, buy them a coffee. Dear CVC Members, Fantastic holiday party! So thankful to be a part of this incredible club. We missed some of you there, but wishing all a very Happy Holiday Season. As for the donations for Manna, Craig, Kent, and I are really so amazed by our club’s generosity. CVC is truly an awesome group of people. Bravo to the club! Thank you to all, and a special thanks to Craig Percy for organizing this Manna drive. As an added note, Trek Bicycle in Westlake has received about 200 bikes from Trek and Electra which are slated for fire victims who were impacted. They NEED HELP!!! From Trek: I need help unboxing, prepping bikes (taking zip ties, packaging, etc. (NO mechanical skill needed) I need help building the bike (some mechanical skill needed) Here is the deal; We will be at the shop EVERYDAY of the week from 11am until 7pm (or later as needed) Address is 3835 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, unit K, Westlake Village, CA 91362 (just to the right of Trader Joes and Petco) Let them know you are there from Conejo Valley Cyclists to help out. Tomorrow afternoon will be the first Hump Day afternoon that it hasn't rained in two weeks. Isn't that amazing?
