Cycling Accident

CVC Family, I wanted to share some very sad and painful news with you. Saturday morning, one of our members, lost his life on PCH. Other riders jumped in and attempted life saving measures, but they were not successful. John McLaughlin, a very talented rider, loving husband and father, sustained fatal injuries. Club News

If any of you missed last Saturday's ride and the cheer, you may have missed the results of the survey. Over 75% of the votes that came in were in favor of trying a 30 min. later start on Saturdays, So as Jerry said, the ride on both days will be at 9:00 am for February. We can evaluate later after we see how it goes for the future. And... if you missed the previous, "Save the Date", I wanted to remind you that we have a Member's Meeting for YOU on Monday, February 24th. Come hear about the good news and happenings within your club and be an active part! We will hear from the people at Trek Bicycles about tire maintenance care, and more! So bring your chairs and enjoy raffle prizes, snacks, and social time!!! Meeting time is :7:00 PM. Please bring something to sit on.
