Just 2 weeks away.... Save the Date and Please attend. CVC is having a ride leader meeting for ALL CURRENT RIDE LEADERS. This will be the night to meet and speak with your new ride director, Taylor. I highly encourage you to be there. We are also looking for volunteers to be able to commit to leading "some" rides whether on the sub list, or picking up a regular position, or even being in the rotating list of ride leaders. CVC needs volunteers to step into leading rides for rides to take place. Come find out what is involved! Grand Finale Pub Ride Thursday 5:30!

Summer is sadly coming to an end and so will the Pub Rides. Let's end this with a happy celebratory note and one final fun ride up Carlisle Canyon and a downhill return with festivities following at Stonehaus. Perfect way to end the season of summer fun! Let's meet at Stonehaus at the front enterance by 5:30, then a wrap around the lake to Westlake Blvd. up and through, regroup at the END of Carlisle. Social paced, let's keep together. New Ride Director and New Ride Leaders

Hey ALL CVC Members, Great news for you all! I would like to announce our new CVC Ride Director, Taylor Hodoose! I am thrilled to have Taylor taking on this position. He will be transitioning into the director job after conquering field at the Malibu Triathlon at the end of September. I would like to extend a "thank you" to our CVC Treasurer, Alfonso Canella for filling in during Bart's transition, I have heard many positive comments on his new announcement format and we have all appreciated his willingness to step in where needed. Taylor will be requesting the help and willingness of CVC Club riders to step up and do some ride leading! Susan has worked diligently coordinating the orange rides, and we will need to add to that list. What great ride leadership we have! We also are looking for a GO Ride leader as well as subs for other weekend rides. We need all levels and would like to see the help and support of many of you, (experience not necessary). This is a volunteer-run club and without volunteers, you would not all be reaping the benefits of such an incredible group of cyclists. We need all current ride leaders to come to the ride leader meeting on Sept. 24th. Thursday Pub Ride 5 :30

This week's Pub ride will be wonderfully different! Our member Cliff Scott has generously offered to host the ride from his home in Westlake, and following the ride we will be having pizza and a boat ride. This ride will be going up through Hidden Valley and returning. It is an RSVP ride only. Please send me an email if you plan on attending.
