CVC Weekly Virtual Zwift Rides week of 12/14/20

Hey CVC’rs, Here is your virtual Zwift ride schedule for this week! We are running rides on Monday (Kent Koral) and Thursday (Shane Mann) from 5:30pm-7:00PM This time window allows riders some flexibility since you can now join a Zwift meetup up to 30 minutes after it has started (cool!) Monday will be in Watopia riding the "Sand an Sequoias” route with Kent Koral. It will utilize the "meetup only view" function. We will NOT use the “keep everyone together” (rubber band) function on this ride, but I will keep us all together. This is a recovery ride and we will ride together at a nice easy pace with a few spicy bits here and there. This will be on Zoom. See further below for more Zoom information. https://zwiftinsider.com/routes/ Thursday will be in Watopia riding the “Jungle Circuit” route with Shane Mann. It will utilize the "meetup only view" function and also the “keep everyone together” function. This will be on Zoom. Please make sure you are following us by 4PM on The day of the ride (you only have to do this once) so that we can have everybody on the invite that wants to ride.. For the Zoom meeting rides, make sure you download the Zoom app ahead of time. Then using the link (see below), join the zoom meeting. Zoom will give you the option of transmitting both audio and video out to the meeting, or just audio if you want to forgo the video feed. This is another great option we utilize to keep the chat fun and lively. You will still be able to see those that are feeding video. Again, there are many YouTube videos out there that you can watch to learn everything you need to know about Zoom meetings. Feel free to reach out to us via text if you have any questions. CVC 2nd and 4th Tuesday night I MTB ride – Cheeseboro Canyon

Hey guys, this weeks CVC 2nd & 4th Tuesday night MTB ride will be out at Cheeseboro Canyon. Fun little route that does a lot of fire road in the beginning, climbs up to Cheeseboro Ridge, and then loops back down Cheeseboro Canyon Trail through Sulphur Springs and back to the lot. Really fun, semi climby trail with two or three very short challenging downhill sections. We will roll from the Cheeseboro Canyon trailhead (on Cheeseboro Road in Agoura, don’t park past the gate) at 5:30PM sharp. Don’t forget to charge those lights, and have water, spares and your helmet of course. See below for the route.
