Hi All I won't send this reminder out again next week but just to make sure you remember the change we made the previous week in Racer's Ride start time ( plus Dale's new Orange Ride start time) Don't forget front & rear lights - as the sun is setting around 6:40pm PLEASE NOTE - NEW FALL earlier starting times 5:00pm Tues. Orange Ride (per Dale's previous email) 5:15pm Tues. Racer Ride : Jonathan W. Leader 5:30pm Tues. Red Ride : Jim D. Leader Westlake-Malibou Lake-Rock Store-Upper Encinal Canyon-Westlake 29.1 miles with 3,000' climbing. CVC Weekly MTB rides for 9-30-13

Hey CVC Mountainbikers, The rides for this week are as follows. Tuesday we're riding the Los Robles trail east to Triunfo and back. Meet at the end of Moorpark Rd. at 6:00 pm Thursday we're riding in Wildwood. Meet at the end of Ave de los Arboles at 6:00 pm It is starting to get dark midway through the ride, so at this point you need to have your light. Most of our rides are approximately 8-15 miles and last around 1.5-2 hours. Our rides are done jointly with the Conejo Mountain Bike club (CMB). It is an intermediate/advanced paced ride and not a no-drop ride. but,lets stay together within our groups, and have a fun safe time. Tuesday Rockstore ride...New start time!

Hi Fellow CVC Members and Guests, With the sun setting before 7:00 pm we are moving the start time to 5:00 pm for the remainder of the year. Front and rear lights are highly recommended! We will continue our Tuesday evening gold ride to the Rock Store from Citibank location to Malibou Lake - Rock Store - Mulholland Hwy - Decker Canyon - around Westlake Lake. 25 + miles with 2,100' of climbing. Starting at 5:00pm Same route as the Tuesday Red Ride (without upper Encinal Canyon). Re-group at: Cornell / Mulholland and top of Rock Store. With the sun setting early lights make it much easier to see and be seen. Here's the route using "Ride with GPS". Wed. Afternoon 3:45 Landing Ride

Hi everyone! Our Wednesday ride is taking off nicely! Please join by meeting us at the Landing Parking Lot, at the end of Lindero (almost) in the shopping center, by the first entrance. We are ready to ride at 3:45 for a ride up and quick pace back through Hidden Valley. Since this is an up and back, so you can turn around any time. The ride is about 22 miles, and we have a 15+ avg. Sunday Sept. 29th G.O. Ride

Hi Fellow CVC members and guests, Our Sunday G.O. rides are typically 30 to 45 miles in length with an average speed of 14 to 16 MPH. As usual, we will meet at the Citibank parking lot and have our pre-ride announcements promptly at 9:00 AM then splitting into our groups and departing. 32.7 Miles and 3236 Feet Route: Agoura Rd, Right at the Calabasas Civic Center thru the neighborhood to De Anza Park. (Not regrouping until King Gillette Ranch.) Right on Las Virgenes Rd, East on Mulholland. First regroup at King Gillette Park and exiting thru the second entrance. Right on Cold Canyon to Piuma. Second regroup is at the Piuma Fire Station. Returning on Las Virgenes to Mulholland around Malibu lake and Cornell Rd. with a finishing lap around Westlake. Piuma Fire Station Water, restroom is available if the station is open on Cornell and Mulholland. It is not a "no drop ride" but as always let's try to stick together and have a fun, safe ride. Average distance is less than 25 miles at a pace of less than 12 MPH. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet.
