Dear CVC Members, It is with great pride that I am able to thank all of the members who participated in or donated to our Picnic and Benefit Ride. Because of you, your efforts, and your donations, we were able to make a great contribution to our community. We donated on a silver level to the Sapwi Bike Park. You will find our name on a permanent signage at the bike park when complete. I hope you all will go visit this amazing bike park as we promote the love of cycling in our community. See www.sapwibikepark.com for more information. We were also able to make a donation to Conejo Open Space Foundation, and the Nosco Foundation. Please look up more information on these foundations that are such an awesome part of our community. CVC Social Event This Sunday

Hey CVC Riders, After you ride this Sunday, there will be a great concert in the park sponsored by COSCA (who we support ) and the Conejo Parks and Rec. The concert will be held at the same park where we had our wonderful Picnic and Benefit ride, but in the amphitheater. What a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon/ evening. Bring your family, and come hang with your CVC family and friends to listen to the songs of Fleetwood Mac. We will be sitting by the sound control booth (center back) but can't hold space, so come on out early and bring your chairs, snacks, drinks, and enjoy. *Sunday, July 22 5:00 PM* *Mirage - Visions of Fleetwood Mac <http://conejo-openspace.org/>*This exceptional 5-piece tribute band, *Mirage - Visions of Fleetwood Mac*, celebrates the legendary superstar band, capturing the look and sound of Fleetwood Mac. Big Bear Group

Sorry for the announcement to all, but there are so many people going to Tour de Big Bear, I forgot who is riding and I know others may still want to go. For anyone who is going, let's ALL have a meeting at Stonehaus on Wednesday night the 25th at 6:00 pm. We can discuss and finalize the details then. Please bring cash to pre-pay the boat if you are interested. This MUST be pre-paid in advance. If you cannot make this meeting, please make arrangements to have someone else bring your $. It will be approximately $25-30 a person (price varies on the total). This is for a 2 hour boat ride. Let's please keep this simple, I can't hold spots without $. We will also discuss and plan dinners, etc. There are so many riders and I can't keep track of everyone unless you show. We will meet towards the back where there is a lot of space. CVC Bike Meeting/Swap Meet JULY 30th

What’s it worth to you ? It’s been said that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Now is your opportunity to take that bike item that has been collecting dust in the cabinet/garage/whatever and see if it is a treasured item coveted by a fellow club member. Come to the July 30th CVC “Swap Meet/Sell Meet” Meeting at the WLV Library at 7:00 PM. It’s OK to bring a small table or tarp (this is especially requested if your item(s) is dirty.) If you don't have something to "sell", come anyway and see your fellow cyclists, be social, have a snack, learn the latest in CVC news.
