CVC MTB 12/22 Dos Vientos Holiday Ride

Hey CVC’rs, we’re coming up on week four and that means an MTB ride! Tuesday 12/22, we are doing a fun Holiday Lights Ride in Dos Vientos. We will be riding from the Wendy and Potrero Trailhead at 5:30 PM sharp. We will ride past Satwiwa and make our way around Dos V and then take a nice tour of the neighborhood using streets and trails. Most of the ride is on fire roads and clean single track (there are a few steeper sections) and would be also suitable for gravel rigs if you are a proficient rider. Make sure you have your charged lighting system (including a taillight), helmet, water and spares. This is a novice to intermediate MTB ride (not suitable for beginners). CVC weekly virtual Zwift rides-Thursday only

Hey CVC’rs, Here is your virtual Zwift ride schedule for this week! Important: this week we are only running Thursday (Shane Mann) from 5:30pm-7:00PM This time window allows riders some flexibility since you can now join a Zwift meetup up to 30 minutes after it has started (cool!) Monday with Kent Is canceled. I need to recover from this injury that I’ve been fighting for three weeks or so! Thursday’s special Christmas Eve edition will be in London riding the “Greater London Flat” route with Shane Mann. It will utilize the "meetup only view" function and also the “keep everyone together” function. This will be on Zoom. See further below for more Zoom information. https://zwiftinsider.com/routes/ You will need to use the Zwift Companion app to make sure you are following both Shane and Kent so that we can add you to the rides if you are have not already done so. Please make sure you are following us by 4PM on The day of the ride (you only have to do this once) so that we can have everybody on the invite that wants to ride.. For the Zoom meeting rides, make sure you download the Zoom app ahead of time. Then using the link (see below), join the zoom meeting. Zoom will give you the option of transmitting both audio and video out to the meeting, or just audio if you want to forgo the video feed. This is another great option we utilize to keep the chat fun and lively. You will still be able to see those that are feeding video. Again, there are many YouTube videos out there that you can watch to learn everything you need to know about Zoom meetings. Feel free to reach out to us via text if you have any questions.
