Hi Members!
A few helpful members came forward to help distribute fliers and posters,
but we still need help in getting our advertising for Cruisin the Conejo out
there. You can all help by sharing our facebook page, as well as passing the
website link to your friends. Cruisintheconejo.org
But in addition, I still need a few different people to distribute and hang
fliers and posters at various bike shops and coffee shops frequented by
cyclists.
If you can get to shops in ANY of the following areas, and can help with
this process, please let me know.
1. Santa Clarita
2. San Gabriel
3. Valencia
4. Long Beach
5. Calabasas and local Conejo Valley meeting spots, (not the shops), but
places like Brent's Deli in Calabasas, Coffee Bean, Peddler's Fork, etc.
6. San Fernando Valley Bike shops- Northridge, REI, etc.
7. Santa Monica
Please let me know in which area you can help distribute.
Thanks so much,
Sheri Leiken

** This is considered a "no drop" ride. The ride leader will keep an eye on everyone. No one is left behind.
All rides not asterisked are considered a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). If you get to a regrouping spot and no one is there, consider yourself dropped. As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. We will regroup regularly to allow everyone a chance to ride together.
If for any reason you leave a group ride, please pass along the information to the ride leader.
It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition (check expiration on helmet inner tag) and that your bike is in working condition as well.
That’s all for now, folks. Have a great week!

Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
I will not be able to ride Wednesday, but. feel free to meet on your own.
You can send me an email to see if there are others.
If anyone can ride tomorrow, same time, I would love to ride then!
Let me know though!
