Sunday G.O. Alternate Ride

Hi Everyone, Sunday's route is going by Moorpark College instead of Grimes Canyon. Since great minds think alike it seems, Saturday's Orange and Red Red ride would duplicate the Sunday G.O. ride. David, our new Treasurer noticed the mistake. Thank you David. Here is the new ride link: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/409285 Sorry for any confusion, Dale G.O. Ride leader This is a "drop ride" meaning that if you can't keep up with the group, and/or catch up within the re-group times - you are "on your own" to know the route from previous knowledge or by following the route slip. It is possible and/or probable that members can assist others with mechanical & other rider emergencies along the route however. Our re-group spots are meant to allow a short break & a chance for riders to catch up so that the group can ride together as much as is possible. Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel the official club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.

Hello CVC’ers, We are excited to have our first meeting of the year take place at Win’s Wheels. Along with the usual club business, Win Allen will be our special guest speaker. In addition to Win, we will be having a special tire changing contest. Special note, we need everyone to bring a folding chair to the meeting. Yes, you read it right. NEW TIME! We will now be meeting at 3:45 and will be ready for about a 20-24 mile "middle of the week" "spin of the legs" "get out and enjoy our bike" ride! I can't wait to get out there this week, the coolest day predicted at a perfect 77 degrees! I HAVE to get out there this week! Starting at 5:15pm Same route as the Tuesday Red Ride (without upper Encinal Canyon). Re-group Cornell / Mulholland, top of Rock Store ad bottom of Westlake for a lake lap.
