Here is the info you need. If you have any questions, let me know. The fit is fabulous with all clothing running true to size. If you go for the relaxed fit, do not go up a size. However, with the gloves and arm warmers only, I would suggest going up a size. Personally, these are THE most comfortable shorts I own topping even my expensive Giordanna. Hey CVC, Some spectacular "away rides" planned this weekend! There will be NO local rides. All groups will be meeting on the old Santa Claus Lane, or Padaro Lane as it is now called, (In Summerland). Please click on the map and bring close. You will see. It has been cautioned that there is NO WATER when climbing Gibraltar, so please come prepared and have your mask on at the start. Have routes printed or downloaded in case you are lost. These are "drop" rides though the ride leaders will be looking out for you, if you cannot keep up, be prepared to finish on your own. Please choose route accordingly. Also want to remind you that we have until the end of the month, about 10 days, to order club clothing. After that the store will be closed. Dear CVC, Our team store is open again for a limited time. The store will be open for 2 weeks and will close on August 31st. Please allow 5-6 weeks from THAT point for delivery. The new kits have been well received in both look, comfort, and fit. The bibs and shorts are amazing! The only suggestion I have is, since the gloves and arm warmers are unisex, I would suggest going up a size. So if you are a men's medium, I would suggest a men's large, etc. The APEX kit is on the ascend website, it is not drawn up in CVC, but should fit the same. The difference is mainly the collar. Santa Barbara Away Ride this Saturday, 8/22!

Hey CVC friends! Just wanted to give you a heads up that this coming Saturday there will be an away ride in Santa Barbara for different levels. Orange Light and Orange/Red will have different variations of routes starting from Padaro Lane in Carpinteria up to Gibraltar. There will also be a route for Gold and those that do not want to go up Gibraltar. It's going to be beautiful up there, and so far, the weather doesn't look like it's going to be quite the inferno that it's been this past weekend. However, please be sure that you are prepared to bring enough water and nutrition for the ride, especially the Orange Light and Orange/Red riders. It gets pretty warm up Gibraltar and it's a 6.14 mile climb. Trust me, if you haven't been, the views are spectacular! The official routes will be sent as usual later this week on Thursday. This was just a little pre-note to let you all know what's coming up ahead. If you are out riding this week, please remember to stay hydrated out there and not overheat. Keep electrolytes in your water bottles and remember to drink often, not just when you're thirsty. By the time your body overheats, it's way harder for it to cool down in these 100 degree temperatures. Stay safe out there! Sheri, Donna and so on..

I am getting lots of questions... This is meeting in the same spot we usually meet in, in Ventura. For those of you who do not know.. Museum of Ventura County Research Library Parking lot. Corner of E. Santa Clara St. and Junipero St. The actual address is the museum, not the parking lot, but it will show up as 100 Main St. The lot is the outdoor lot next to the museum.
