The faster paced Rock Store ride continues on Tuesday October 6th at 5:30 pm PDT sharp. The ride leaves from the Landings parking lot. Four more left including tomorrow. Sunset is at 6:32 pm. Lights are needed for either Upper Encinal or Way of the Weak. RWGPS route with Mulholland return ( without Upper E) 26 + miles with 1,900' of climbing. Do not park next to the homes. ** This is considered a "no drop" ride. The ride leader will keep an eye on everyone. No one is left behind. All rides not asterisked are considered a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). If you get to a regrouping spot and no one is there, consider yourself dropped. As always we will try to stick together and have a fun, safe ride. Along with the usual club business, we will have a couple of speaker –George Chester from LUX Development Cycling Team and a TBD speaker. As we did last time, we need everyone to bring a folding chair to the meeting. This should be a great presentation and I hope you can attend. Leaving from the Landing, the Tuesday-Thursday ride is a 25 to 40 mile intermediate level ride (between gold and gold rush). There are very few cars out at this time and the weather is nice and cool. Come and join us. No rider gets left behind. CVC RIDE PREVIEW September 26 to October 1 -WEATHER UPDATE- It looks like another hot weekend. Please consider the temperature when choosing a route and keep an eye on what your body is telling you and whether it's just fatigue or heat exhaustion.
