Do you ride weekends only? 25 miles, 50 miles, 100+ miles per week? If Bart Z were to get out of the saddle for a sprint do you try and keep up, or pace yourself and catch him on the uphill? Do you like flat rides, hill climbs, long rides….. How do you describe yourself to non rider friends? *When riding with us:* · wear helmets and ensure your bike is in good working order · stay in bike lanes and no more than two abreast on them; single file otherwise · not overlap wheels · descend carefully! Look out for debris, animals, potholes, tight bends, and slick spots · pass slower riders on the left · ride predictably: signal when changing lines and call out hazards · avoid bunching up · respect all traffic rules and the rights of motor vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians · Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Wed. afternoon ride

I did not post a ride this week due to the high probability of rain. If by chance this was just a passing cloud as usual, I will be at the Landing at 3:45. If there is sprinkles, I will not. Though I hope for rain, if we don't get it, plan on a 3:45 pm ride start from THE LANDING and we will go for a 20 mile approx. ride at a Gold + pace. If not, see you this weekend! -- Sheri
