CVC Thurs Fun in the Dirt MTB

Hi all, this week we're going to ride Cheeseboro Canyon. This has a bit more climbing than some of our other rides and a few technical singletrack sections but for the most part is a fun, flowing ride. As usual we will be riding a nice easy pace. We will meet at the lower parking lot at the end of Cheeseboro Road for a 5:30 start. Don't forget your helmet and water. Kent Koral (818) 802-0826

Let's all meet at Adobe Cantina in Agoura at 5:30 for a mid week ride and social get together! 29100 Agoura Rd, Agoura Hills, CA 91301 Basic Route: Right out of parking lot left Chesebro, around Agoura High School, TO Blvd to Promenade Way, (parking lot street before Westlake) Up Westlake, to Kanan Regroup Left on Lindero, around and to bike path, Straight out and through housing Then back to Kanan Right on fountainwood, around to Laro, left Cross kanan, around school, and back chesebro to Agoura Road. The Tuesday evening 5:30 pm Rock Store ride continues on Tuesday July 5th at 5:30 pm PDT sharp. The ride leaves from the Landings parking lot. RWGPS route with Mulholland return ( without Upper E) 26 + miles with 1,900' of climbing. UPDATE

Hi Members, I spoke with Jeremy’s wife at length today. The hope is that he gets out of the hospital in the next day or two. He has suffered a back fracture, shoulder issue, and many facial and mouth injuries. She says it will be a long recovery with further surgeries ahead. They both thank you for your support and are appreciative of everyone’s thoughts and prayers. bike crash

Dear Members, It is with upsetting news, that I am informing you that one of our members, Jeremy Littman, had a bad crash today. He was airlifted to UCLA and is in the best of care. His wife and family are with him. Please pray that he goes through a quick healing process and will be back riding with us soon. He has sustained multiple injuries however, they do not appear to be life threatening. I am in communication with his wife and will let you know what is needed if you want to help. The cause is unknown, but it was not a car. It may have been a rut, a rock, or a mechanical issue. We don't know. Please send good thoughts for our friend Jeremy. Sincerely, Sheri Leiken

Tuesday - Thursday 8:30am ride

Happy Fourth weekend. We continue this week with the 8:30 am Tuesday Thursday ride. Come and join us Leaving from the Landing, the Tuesday-Thursday ride is a 25 to 40 mile intermediate level ride There are very few cars out at this time. Come and join us. No rider gets left behind. Away Ride - Next Weekend, June 9th

Hey Guys, I overlooked that the second Saturday of the month for out away ride is actually next weekend, not the 16th as originally planned. So our next make up away ride to Santa Barbara is next weekend - Saturday the 9th. Here are the routes. We'll have two groups and options for shortening the climbs (Gibraltar is up and back, for example). NOTE THE EARLIER START TIME OF 8:30.
