CVC GO Ride Enthusiasts: This week's ride will be the same as last week's + one full (Westlake) lake lap tacked on at the end. I will send out an updated route slip tomorrow. Fully charged and functioning head- and tail lights mounted on your bike by Thursday afternoon.DISTANCE: =/< 20 miles. PACE: This is an intermediate level ride.AFTER THE RIDE: Join your cycling friends at Pitfire Pizza @ 7:15 p.m.RSVP: by Wednesday evening if you will be joining us at Pitfire Pizza. DIRECTIONS: Ride starts from Pitfire Pizza parking lot (same lot as Gelson's). If you hear someone call out “clear” while approaching a turn or intersection, or anywhere else for that matter, please disregard it and make your own decision about the safety status of the turn or intersection. 6. Tuesday - Thursday 9:00 am ride

Looks like we may have a breeze and cloud covering lets go put on some miles Leaving from the Landing, the Tuesday-Thursday ride is a 25 to 40 mile intermediate level ride (between gold and gold rush). There are very few cars out at this time and the weather is nice and cool. Come and join us. No rider gets left behind. The faster paced Rock Store ride continues on Tuesday October 6th at 5:30 pm PDT sharp. The ride leaves from the Landings parking lot. Four more left including tomorrow. Sunset is at 6:32 pm. CVC RIDE PREVIEW October 3-October 8 -UPCOMING- Next Away Rides, Saturday, October 10 Camarillo Coastal Cruise Starting at the Camarillo Soccer Fields, we have an assortment of rides going through the farm fields and along the coast with an option to climb up one of the canyons. Buelton-Solvang Ride: Jim Doane leads his annual ride starting in Buelton and riding through the central coast's vineyards. -THE WEEKLY RIDES- It is the individual cyclist’s responsibility to know the route, either by printed out route slip, or downloaded to their GPS. This is an intermediate level ride that starts and ends at local watering holes, so you can finish up with some food, refreshments, and socializing with your cycling friends. --------------------------------- Please remember when parking at The Landing for any weekend morning rides to park and congregate towards the far end of the lot away from the street and use the middle row. Do not park next to the homes. ** This is considered a "no drop" ride. The ride leader will keep an eye on everyone. No one is left behind. All rides not asterisked are considered a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). If you get to a regrouping spot and no one is there, consider yourself dropped. As always we will try to stick together and have a fun, safe ride. We will regroup regularly to allow everyone a chance to ride together. If for any reason you leave a group ride, please pass along the information to the ride leader. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet.
