Hey CVC’rs, here is your virtual Zwift ride scedule for this week!
We are running rides on Monday (Kent Koral) and Thursday (Shane Mann) from 5:30pm-7:00PM
This time window allows riders some flexibility since you can now join a Zwift meetup up to 30 minutes after it has started (cool!)
Monday will be in France riding the “RGV” route with Kent Koral. It will utilize the "meetup only view" function. We will NOT use the “keep everyone together” (rubber band) function on this ride, but I will keep us all together. This is a semi recovery ride and we will ride together at a nice easy pace with a few spicy bits here and there. This will be on Zoom. Thursday will be in Watopia riding the “Sand and Sequoias” route with Shane Mann. It will utilize the "meetup only view" function and also the “keep everyone together” function. This will be on Zoom. See further below for more Zoom information. https://zwiftinsider.com/route/sand-and-sequoias/
You will need to use the Zwift Companion app to make sure you are following both Shane and Kent so that we can add you to the rides if you are have not already done so. Please make sure you are following us by 4PM on The day of the ride (you only have to do this once) so that we can have everybody on the invite that wants to ride..
For the Zoom meeting rides, make sure you download the Zoom app ahead of time. Then using the link (see below), join the zoom meeting. Zoom will give you the option of transmitting both audio and video out to the meeting, or just audio if you want to forgo the video feed. This is another great option we utilize to keep the chat fun and lively. You will still be able to see those that are feeding video. Again, there are many YouTube videos out there that you can watch to learn everything you need to know about Zoom meetings.
