CVC Purple Level Ride -- Saturday, April 13th, 8:30 AM
Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner) for announcements; promptly at 8:30 AM, then split into our groups to depart. Rain is in the forecast for Thursday through Sunday; however, if conditions allows us to ride the following route provide many options to shorten the ride. Local route below the away route is in Camarillo. Route: De Anza, Mulholland Cornell and around the Lake.

Ride Leader/s for this ride will be: We need volunteers to lead the Purple rides.
The Purple Ride is an entry level ride no one is dropped; however, if you are not planning on completing the route please inform the ride leader. Average distance is less than 25 miles at a pace of less than 12 MPH. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. This is a "no drop ride" however, please try to stay together. As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. We will regroup regularly to allow everyone a chance to ride together.
Things to have: Helmet !!! - Water to complete the ride or at least to reach the next water stop - Tools to perform minor repairs -Chain repair linkage - Inner-tube and pump (or the like) - Cellular phone - Food to replenish energy.
Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd. (between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market. If we don't respect the requests of the lease tenants, we could be asked to park elsewhere. Remember, if you ride...
