A beautiful day for a challenging relaxing ride. The temperature should be in the low 70 degrees; no jacket required. The following route distance can be reduced or expanded and necessary.
Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner) for announcements; promptly at 8:30 AM, then split into our groups to depart Route: Mulholland, Seven Minute Hill returning through Calabasas; This route can be shorten by eliminating the Lake Lap.

Regroups: Juan Bautista De Anza Park for water and restrooms Top of Seven Minute Hills for Water McDonald's on Agoura Road for Water and Restrooms As frequent as possible to maintain the group
The Purple Ride is an entry level ride no one is dropped; however, if you are not planning on completing the route please inform the ride leader. Average distance is less than 25 miles at a pace of less than 12 MPH. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. This is a "no drop ride" however, please try to stay together. As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. We will regroup regularly to allow everyone a chance to ride together.
Things to have: Helmet !!! - Water to complete the ride or at least to reach the next water stop - Tools to perform minor repairs -Chain repair linkage - Inner-tube and pump (or the like) - Cellular phone - Food to replenish energy.
Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd. (between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market. If we don't respect the requests of the lease tenants, we could be asked to park elsewhere. Remember, if you ride...
