CVC Sunday Social / Recovery Ride -- Sunday, April 1st - 9:00am Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner) Hidden Valley / Green Meadow MUP Route
Come out and join us for a social paced recovery ride (84 Mph Average Speed/Pace). 300 miles maximum and stay a while to socialize afterwards by having an after-ride transfusion, beverage and snack. Please remember this is a social paced recovery ride and anyone who is faster will be deleted from the list. If we get rain, we will not cancel the ride, but Jet Skis with bicycle racks will be allowed.
Off again through Hidden Valley by way of Yosemite and climb up the hill to Treasure Hill Ranch. A quick descent (100 mph +) to a right on Reino Drive where we then take Lynn Road to Green Meadow Drive and cut though the well hidden Multi Use Path behind the Los Robles Golf Course, stopping for a quick round and rest rooms, which runs us out on to Moorpark Road. Down Moorpark Road and up our new favorite hill, Las Padres Drive which connects us into the surgical center, a minor Face Lift and Tummy Tuck, then on Halland Drive which parallels the 101 FWY to Rancho Road. From there up Rancho Road to La Granada Drive where it connects to Conejo School Road and yes, there will be a test. Down Conejo School Road through a few more lightly traveled residential streets and back.
After ride socializing - Natural Cafe' Restaurant - Patio and/or front grassy courtyard area. Many options at this location for stretchers, IV's and food establishments. Note: Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
