Hey CVCrs,
As Sheri mentioned last week, our own Shane Mann has taken on hosting a weekly Thursday night CVC group ride at 5:30pm. Please follow Shane from the Zwift companion app so that she can invite you to the group rides.
This week Shane is riding in Watopia on the Out and Back route for 60 minutes. Those that wish to extend can hang together and keep having fun after the time is up.
The ride will utilize the rubber band to keep everyone together.
Shane is doing things differently than I am as she is utilizing a zoom meeting so you can chat with each other live and even stream yourself live into the meeting if you wish to. Or you can keep your camera off and just talk. Your choice, but all fun! I’m going to jump on Thursday and see how the zoom works out and we may utilize it on the CVC Tuesday Zwift ride in the future. Look for the Zoom link on Shane’s invite in the Zwift companion app.
Going forward, we will announce the following week’s official CVC Zwift group rides on Sunday evenings in one simple email with all the information you will need.
Unlike the CVC Outdoor rides which are for official members only, the Zwift rides are open to all for the foreseeable future.
Shane and I are looking forward to seeing all of you on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30pm on Zwift!
