CVC Saturday Purple Ride, Elks BBQ, Sept 24, 8:30am Meeting at the Citibank Parking Lot, Westlake Village, (corner of Westlake Blvd & Agoura Rd)\ Purple Route:  Petting Zoo     18.8 mi / 902’ climbing Purple+Plus Route: Rock Store, 22 to 25 miles, approx 2,000' climbing Hey Purple Riders, It's BBQ Saturday!  If you never joined us for the Elk's Lodge BBQ lunch then get your taste buds set for a delicious treat! The Purple and Purple+Plus Ride is an beginners recreational ride, 15 to 20 miles in length with an average pace of 12-13 mph. It is a "no drop" ride so let's try to stick together as much as possible. If you are new to CVC or just trying us out please let me know before we start. Things you need for every ride. Cell phone Spare tube CO2 cartridge or hand pump Patch kit Route slip Remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd (between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market.
