Hey CVC'rs

In just a few days, we’ll be celebrating Cruisin' the Conejo’s 30th anniversary. We’re thrilled to be hosting the Conejo Valley’s largest annual charity cycling event. And, we are thankful many of there will be there to help us celebrate this great day along with other club riders, club volunteers, vendors, and charitable organizations from around Southern California and the nation. We don’t want anyone left out. Below is a little update on what is happening. To register for Cruisin’ the Conejo go to http://www.cruisintheconejo.org/registration-2014/

Pre-registration begins on Friday, May 9th at 4pm at the Skyworks parking lot located at 649 Lawrence Drive, Newbury Park, CA 91320. Check out the link: http://goo.gl/maps/fY2JO

If you don’t have a chance to sign up on line, don’t worry. Day of Registration will be available on Saturday, May 10th at 6am. Please keep in mind the best available price will be online.

Cruisin’ volunteers have been working hard and this year’s event Expo should be a lot of fun and the raffle prizes donated by the local bike shops are incredible. Below is a list of some of the items donated by these great partners:

Let’s not forget the jerseys, sunglasses, water bottles, massages, and more.

It’s also not too late to get involved. We need plenty of help before, during, and after the event. Please see how you can help the club by visiting… http://vols.pt/gDuoVi . Worried about participating and missing out on volunteering, don’t worry, we can find a way where you can do both.  We Are still looking for help at a couple of rest stops and for set up on Friday.

Lastly, can’t ride this weekend ‘cause the kids have early morning soccer or baseball? Or, you crashed your bike and broke your collar bone (wink, wink)? Then come on out anyway and enjoy the expo and be part of the party.

Let’s go Ride,
