Ok Troops!  There's gonna be a new ride this Saturday and you're gonna like it!  We have something for all Purples this weekend!

Introducing a second edition of Purple Plus!  Let's follow the Gold Ride to Piuma!

  • We'll hang a right at the end of Las Virgenes and start up Mulholland
  • 17 miles with about 1500' climbing
  • Option at mile 10 to get 7 extra miles, if you want
  • Please see the map for the full Gold 27 miles with 2476' climbing

Sounds like fun and it will help you get from the Purple to the Gold level. We will do our own pace. Here is the link for the Purple Plus ride: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/580511

For the Purples who are not yet game for the challenging Plus route, don't despair! Lee is recovering from surgery and he will lead a shorter / easier Purple ride. Here is that link: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/700005

The purple ride is a beginner club ride with a 12-13 mph average pace but is open to all levels. No one gets dropped and no one is left behind. Please make sure to wear the appropriate riding attire. Please check your bike prior to Saturday and make any necessary repairs.
