Hi All,

I want to give a BIG thanks to the twenty three club members who came out to our Club Ride meeting last night.

It's exciting and encouraging to see your support and enthusiasm for improving and expanding our club rides in 2012.

This is the outline we will now follow based on the discussion and comments from all those that attended Wednesday nights meeting.

Establish a "Ride Captain" and a rotating core of "Ride Leaders" into "Ride Teams" for each of our Club's colored rides
Each Ride Team will collaborate to decide upon FIVE weeks of rides in advance and announce the ride and Ride Leader via member's email and also post the rides on our club website ride calendar & Facebook page
Kent will still send an email on Friday recapping all the weekend/following weeks rides
For each colored ride, the team will create "Ride With GPS" route maps with route slips to be posted on the club website
Create some "new" rides in each of the colored ride groups
Away Rides : develop some additional color-specific Away Rides and announce them at least 30 days in advance.

I will be announcing the Ride Captains names and teams in a subsequent email.

your interest back to me by via this posting.

We need to remember that the CVC is an all volunteer operation, and without the effort and support of all our members we cant exist at the level we currently enjoy.
