Conejo Valley Cyclists Recap For The Week Starting 5-5-12

Hi All,

Well, Cruisin' the Conejo 2012 is here! All the hard work by all of you is coming together and we are on the cusp of putting on one of the premier bicycle rides in Southern California. This year will be particularly exciting since we have greatly expanded our Cruisin Expo and added the Friday Night Dinner. Come down and join us on Friday for some Spaghetti, hang with your fellow CVC members, Cruisin' riders, and take a look at the Cruisin' Expo. And then on Saturday, along with the ride, the Cruisin Expo will be going full tilt. There will be demo's and exhibits from shops and manufactures along with a large raffle with prizes galore...Even a few nice bikes!

Even if you are not riding, or working the event, we would love to have you stop by and support all the vendors who are a part of this years event.

We still need a few people to help Jim D with the prize raffle on Saturday from around 11am to 4pm. Please contact Sheri if you would like to help out.

Also don't forget there will be NO CLUB RIDES on the day of Cruisin' May 5th.

Please mark your calender for the annual Ride of Silence coming up on Wednesday 5-16-12 at 6:30 PM. The ride will start from The Lakes.

Keep in mind that with the new Ride Team Format, you will still see the rides posted by the individual Captains, and lead by the Ride Captain or another Ride Team Leader. Everyone is invited and encouraged to take part in leading and assisting the rides, just contact the ride Captain and they will tell you all you need to know.

Below is a re-cap of the rides this weekend and next week. See the ride Captains individual posts on the mailing list for more information.
