Hey CVC,
The weather is looking perfect again this weekend for temps. We will have 10mph winds again, though, so watch for cross winds and gusts. And it's July so we will dehydrate fast. Drink plenty and keep your bottles topped off.
On Saturday, we have three routes, including the red ride doing Piuma and Las Flores, the Orange doing Calabasas to Decker over Mulholland, and the Gold ride doing Hidden Valley and Dos Vientos.
Sunday the red group is doing Mulholland and 7-minute Hill, with the GO ride doing a Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park loop. Or you can do the Social ride out to Calabasas and back.
Midweek rides are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, including the Rock Store race ride Tuesday night, cruise rides Tuesday and Thursday mornings, the Wednesday Pub Ride, and mountain biking on Thursday afternoon.
We are planning a Newcomers Ride to begin soon. Keep your eye out for more info and contact me if you have any input.
Please be extra careful and wary of road debris. Look out for each other so we can avoid possible accidents.
Let me know if I can help with anything bike or ride-related. I always have extra Clif bars, equipment and my toolbox, pump, etc.
And let's ride!

ADDITIONAL NOTES
The Purple ride is considered a no drop. Having said that, please note that if you are falling behind or slower than the average pace, you may be dropped. All rides not asterisked are considered a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). If you get to a regrouping spot and no one is there, consider yourself dropped.  As always, we will try to stick together and have a fun, safe ride. We will regroup regularly to allow everyone a chance to ride together.

If for any reason you leave a group ride, please pass along the information to the ride leader.

Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
