WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey CVC,
On Sunday, we've got three rides, and hopefully a beautiful day. The Red Ride is doing a crooked line over Mulholland including a bit of Piuma, Stunt and Old Topanga. The G.O. Ride is heading out HIdden Valley to Camarillo and back up Santa Rosa Valley. And the social ride is going to combine two of our local favorite rides with Malibu Lake and Carlisle Canyon.
When riding with your groups, please be very verbal and watch for debris in the bike lanes. Always warn riders behind you of everything approaching! You are their eyes when you are on the front. The weekend weather looks soggy again on Saturday, but clear and beautiful on Sunday. We've planned routes in case it doesn't rain and some longer ones for Sunday when it's expected to be nicer. If you do ride in the rain or wet conditions, watch your speed, especially on corners and descents. I will send an update email on Saturday morning around 6 AM.
On Saturday, we have three rides hoping the storm moves out by then. The Red Ride is heading up over Westlake to the beach and back up Encinal Canyon, then down Rock Store. The Orange ride is doing a loop around Hidden Valley, back over Erbes and around Oak Park on Kanan. And the Gold ride is heading for Calabasas over Mureau and back over Mulholland and 7-Minute HIll.
We've also got midweek rides Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, including a Tuesday night mountain bike ride, a Wednesday afternoon spin with Sheri and destination rides Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Our Purple and Newcomer rides are getting a fantastic response. Please help spread the word and bring friends! Our next ride and class is scheduled for two weeks on the 4th of March. Come join us and bring family and friends.

PARKING
Please remember when parking at The Landing for any weekend morning rides to park and congregate towards the far end of the lot away from the street and use the middle row. Do not park next to the homes.
The Purple ride is considered a no drop. Having said that, please note that if you are falling behind or slower than the average pace, you may be dropped. All rides not asterisked are considered a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). If you get to a regrouping spot and no one is there, consider yourself dropped. As always, we will try to stick together and have a fun, safe ride. We will regroup regularly to allow everyone a chance to ride together.
