WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey CVC,
The weather is forecast as getting warm this weekend (in the 90s), so be sure to bring two bottles and drink lots. Electrolytes in one bottle will help.
On Saturday, we have three routes, including the red ride heading up over Rock Store, dropping to the beach down Latigo and coming back up Mulholland. The Orange ride is heading out Hidden Valley and down Potrero to PCH and back up Mulholland from the north. And the Gold is going to do a ride through Newbury Park and back up around Olsen, Erbes, Westlake and Chesboro.
Sunday the Red group is heading up Mulholland, climbing Stunt and returning back down Piuma. The GO ride is doing Newbury Park with a loop around Dos Vientos and return through Hidden Valley. The Social ride this weekend is headed for Newbury over Hillcrest and back over Green Meadow.
We've also go midweek rides Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, including the Rock Store race ride Tuesday night, cruise rides Tuesday and Thursday mornings, the Wednesday Pub Ride, and mountain biking on Thursday afternoons.
We are planning a Newcomers Ride and a number of club riding classes. Keep your eye out for more info and contact me if you have any input.
Please be extra careful and wary of road debris. Agoura Road is still closed just north of Kanan for another few weeks. There is also construction on Westlake Boulevard. Please warn riders behind you of debris in the bike lanes. Look out for each other so we can all return happy and safe.
Call it out and keep your friends behind you safe!
Let me know if I can help with anything bike or ride-related. I always have extra Clif bars, equipment and my toolbox, pump, etc.
And let's ride!

PARKING
Please remember when parking at The Landing for any weekend morning rides to park and congregate towards the far end of the lot away from the street and use the middle row.  Do not park next to the homes.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
The Purple ride is considered a no drop. Having said that, please note that if you are falling behind or slower than the average pace, you may be dropped. All rides not asterisked are considered a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). If you get to a regrouping spot and no one is there, consider yourself dropped.  As always, we will try to stick together and have a fun, safe ride. We will regroup regularly to allow everyone a chance to ride together.

If for any reason you leave a group ride, please pass along the information to the ride leader.

Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
