This Thursday's Pub Ride will begin at Tarantula Hill Brewing Company at 5:30 pm.  Tarantula Hill is located at 244 Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360 - just east of Moorpark Road on the south side of the street (parking is in the rear of the building).  It is the very first on-site micro-brewery in Thousand Oaks and opened just a few weeks ago.  In fact, it is so new there is no name on the building (the building is black with tinted windows and is quite large…very difficult to miss save for the lack of signage).  For those who are familiar, this is the location of the old Plummer’s Furniture Store.  So come out and be counted among the Thousand Oaks trendsetters.

Let’s meet in the parking lot in the rear of the building.  We’ll take off promptly at 5:30, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early.

This ride is at a social pace, which I understand may have somewhat different meanings to some, but if you’re looking for a ride where you can really hammer, this is not it.  Also, riding this time of the evening can be challenging (motorists coming home from work, distracted by either their reflections of the day or their anticipations of the evening to come), so it is important for our safety to stay together as a group. 

We will try to reserve a table for the group, so even if you cannot make the ride, plan on being there around 7:00-ish for the fun part.

RSVPs are not required, but if you wouldn’t mind letting me know that you’re coming, it would be permit me to do a better job of coordinating with the management at Tarantula Hill.
