CVC Holiday Rides -- Thursday and Friday, November 22nd and 23rd

Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner) for announcements; then split into our groups to depart.


Routes and start times: Three Lakes on the 22nd and PCH with Latigo and Encinal Return on the 23rd.  Please note the two different start time:  November 22nd start time is 8:00 AM. November 23rd start time is 9:00 AM

Thanksgiving Day Ride, November 22nd 2012: Three Lakes Starting at 8:00 AM to give everyone time for a quick ride.

Friday after Thanksgiving Ride, November 23rd 2012 Starting at 9:00 AM:  To PCH with Gold returning on Encinal, Orange and Red returning on Latigo.

The Orange is an Intermediate to advanced ride, 40+ miles in length. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. This is a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. We will regroup regularly and to allow everyone a chance to ride together.

 

Things to have:

Helmet !!! - Water to complete the ride or at least to reach the next water stop - Tools to perform minor repairs -Chain repair linkage - Inner-tube and pump (or the like) - Cellular phone - Food to replenish energy.


Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.


Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd. (between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market. If we don't respect the requests of the lease tenants, we could be asked to park elsewhere. Remember, if you ride..
