Hi Purple Riders,

This Saturday the Purples are scheduled for the "Petting Zoo" route.  As usual, there will be an extra loop around Westlake at the end for those who would like and extra 5 flat miles.

We will meet at Citibank (corner of Agoura Hills and Westlake), rolling out at 8:30 AM.  Please come EARLY for parking!

The Purple ride is a beginner club ride with a 12-13 mph average pace but is open to all levels. No one gets dropped and no one is left behind. Please make sure to wear the appropriate riding attire. Please check your bike prior to Saturday and make any necessary repairs.

Although the Purple ride is a "no drop" ride, for the enjoyment and safety of the participants, we will keep a 12-14 MPH average.

If you feel you are not Purple ready, but want to work up to the Purple level, please contact the Ride Captain who will gladly give you some pointers and advise. We strongly recommend that you come out and meet the riders!  The best stepping stone to grow into a Purple rider is to ride around Westlake!  When you can sweep those 5 flat miles at a steady 12 to 14 mph pace, and still feel ready for more, then you will be able to handle many of the standard Purple routes.

  • CO2 cartridge or hand pump
  • Patch kit
