CVC Members Meeting & Pot Luck -- Wednesday, July 23rd, 7:00 PM

Hey CVC'rs... It's time to meet for the 3rd Annual Members Pot Luck and Meeting. Bring tasty finger foods, chips and dips, and any other party specialties you can dig up. Please RSVP if you plan on bringing something, so we can make sure we have an even spread. Don't worry about drinks, plates, and the like, we have plenty of that stuff. We have had some RSVP's and they sound delicious. Hope to see you there.

Along with the Pot Luck, we will have the below guest speakers among other items to be covered.

Bicycle & Bicycle Parts Donation

As part of our continuing outreach to charitable organizations, we are asking for donations for Bicycle Angels. All types of Bicycles (Road & Mountain, Kids, etc...) and bicycle parts are welcome. Please bring with you to the meeting. We will have a trailer available.
Bicycle Angels is a non-profit charitable organization that provides loaner road bicycles for free to fundraising individuals who participate in a secular charity cycling event (like Cruisin' the Conejo). Bicycles are loaned to motivated and committed individuals who are not financially capable of owning a suitable bicycle, but are passionate to fundraise for a charity.

Guest Speakers:

Dale Capewell of CVC Racing and long time member, fresh off his successful RAAM achievement, will discuss his cross country adventure. Don't miss out on the details of his inspirational journey.

Jennifer Little from Boy Scout troop 753 is coming to talk about the positive affect that Cruisin the Conejo has had on her troop and the young men that participate in the club's annual ride.

In addition to these presentation, we will have a couple of additional club presentations that you won't want to miss.
