CVC Saturday Gold Ride, August 6, 8:30am
Meeting at the Citybank Parking Lot, Westlake Village, (corner of Westlake Blvd & Agoura Rd)
Route: Reyes Adobe, Oak Canyon, Wildwood, Bike Path. 36 miles with 2,400' climbing

Hey Gold Riders,

Lets head out to another something different Gold Ride. There are a lot of ways to cut this ride short if needed. This ride follows many TO city streets so pay attention and take a good look at the the RWGPS site! This ride will incorporate the recently added bike path from the end of Gainsboro to the TO Library. It also continues behind the Library where there is a short dirt section that will put us onto Ave De Las Flores. This dirt section is similar to the Purple Petting Zoo ride into the mobile home village. It can be bypassed very easily by turning right on Janss instead of crossing Janss. There is a signal there. It will be fun!

Basic Route: Reyes Adobe to Oak Canyon Park, Kanan to Los Arboles, Pederson, Olsen, Wildwood, Gainsboro, the new TO bike path, Ave De Las Flores and back through Pentagon park.

Here is the route with RideWithGps: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/593489 where you can view the route and print out a cue sheet.

The Gold Ride is an intermediate recreational ride, 30 to 40 miles in length with an average pace of 14 mph. It is not a "no drop" ride but as always let's try to stick together as much as possible. If you are new to CVC or just trying us out please let me know before we start.

Remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd (between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market. If we do not respect the requests of the lease tenants we could be asked to park elsewhere.

After the ride, please join us at one of the many refueling options available at the finish such as the Natural Cafe', Sea Casa, East Coast Bagel, Sprouts Market, etc,.

Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditons; however the ride will not be considered an official club ride.

See you Saturday!
