CVC Membership Meeting,  Monday August 29th,   Newbury Park Bicycle Shop, 7:00 PM

CVC'ers, plan on attending our August member meeting at Newbury Park Bike Shop.

We have an informational but also fun packed agenda.

A representative from the League of American Bicyclists will give a presentation on bike safety.

You say you don't need this?

You say you are an experienced rider?

Maybe, but club members have experienced some unpleasant accidents and near misses in the past few months so why not spend a few minutes on this subject?

Our host, Ben from NPBS, will have his rep from Giant Bicycles (Brad Edwards)  present to talk about their amazing new line up of Defy and TCR that both feature disc brake technology. We'll also have a demonstration, for those not familiar with removing a disc brake equipped wheel, for flat changing purposes.

Additionally Ben is offering the following to us:
