CVC Saturday Purple Ride – Saturday 8:00 AM

Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner).

Route: Agoura to Lindero Canyon around the lake, left on Westlake and right on Potrero for a ride through Hidden Valley.

 

Hi Everyone,

On Saturday starting at 8:00 AM the Purple Ride is riding the Hidden Valley loop.  Regroups will be frequent with a stop at Fire Station 33 for Restroom and Water.

Re-grouping Locations:

Fire Station 33. .

And as needed to maintain group contact.

 

As usual, we will meet at the Citibank parking lot and have our pre-ride announcements promptly at 8:00AM then splitting into our groups and departing.

It is mandatory to have and ware a helmet that is in good working condition. It is a "no drop ride" with frequent regroups and no one is left behind; however, if you are not planning on riding the entire route please notify the ride leader.

Things to have:

Water to complete the ride or at least to reach the next water stop.

Tools to perform minor repairs.

Chain repair linkage.

Inner-tube and inflated device.

Cellular phone.

Food to replenish energy.

Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.

After the ride, please join us at one of the many refueling options available at the finish such as Natural Cafe, Sea Casa, East Coast Bagel, Sprouts Market, etc..

Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Bl.(between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market. If we don't respect the requests of the lease tenants, we could be asked to park elsewhere.
