Thank you Jonathan & Howard for leading the Red Ride last Sat. in my absence.
Continuing on the theme of "mixing up" the Red Ride Sat. routes and offerring new climbs & ride directions,
here is another interesting ride variation:
 
Piuma-Saddle Peak-La Tuna Canyon-PCH-Las Flores-Piuma-Cold Canyon-Rock Store -Upper Encinal-Westlake
Ride East on Agoura Rd. to JBDA Park ( 1st re-group spot)
Las Virgenes -Mulholland-Piuma (2nd re-group spot at top of Piuma)
Scheuren to Stunt Rd. overlook -continue up Saddle Peak- descend Tuna Canyon to PCH
Las Flores climb to Rambla Pacifica
Descend Piuma to Cold Canyon
Mulholland Hwy to Rock Store
Upper Encinal Canyon to Lechusa
Return to Westlake Blvd. descent
 
Approx. 69 miles & maybe 10,000' climbing ? ( RWGPS plots a little high in climbing feet)

As you can see, there are several "bail out" points should you not wish to ride the entire route.
