Just a reminder, our sister event REALLY needs some cyclists to help out. Please contact Jodi if you can volunteer.
The Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills is in need of a few cyclists to be either race leaders or sweepers on Saturday, March 22.
The
Great Race of Agoura was established in 1986 by a group of parents
looking to raise money for their children's elementary schools. Now
professionally produced by Endurance Events and in its 29th year, The Great Race of Agoura Hills is
one of the largest running events in the Los Angeles area and continues
to donate to many schools in Agoura Hills and Oak Park.
We are specifically in need of:
7:15am - 9:30 10K sweeper - ADULT
7:00am - 9:30 5K/10K leader -
ADULT
10K starts on Carell near Agoura High and ends at Chumash Park near Agoura High
7:00am - 10:00 Pacific Half sweeper - ADULT
Pacific Half starts at Paramount Ranch and ends at Chumash Park near Agoura High.
to sign up, go to the website. And we can take pairs. Always more fun to ride with a friend!
And
if they want to help without their bikes, we have spots along the 10K
in Old Agoura and along the Pacific Half, south of the freeway, where
we could use additional help as race monitors. All open positions are
listed on the website. We encourage people to sign up with a friend or
family member. always more fun with a partner!
