Hi CVCrs, I wanted to give you a few more details on this year’s Dos Vientos holiday light ride happening tomorrow night.
The ride, as usual is a hybrid of fire roads, and fairly tame single track. It is gravel friendly also. We will depart from the Wendy and Potrero trailhead.
We leave at 5:30 PM. Lights are required and a tail light is needed for this one.
For those of you that we would like to join on your road bikes, we will depart the dirt and continue on the streets at the corner of Via Ricardo and Via Rincon. We will arrive at this location between 5:50 and 6 PM.
The balance of the ride will be 100% pavement. But again full lighting will be required. We will then ride back to the trail head a and have a little celebration!!
The total ride is around 12 miles, a little shorter if you’re riding to the the pavement meeting point.
