Please see the attached flyer for information for the annual Ride of Silence.

"Ride of Silence" is to honor accident victims and promote safe cycling

Each year, bicycle riders in the U.S. have been killed or injured while riding on public roadways. All cyclists are invited to participate in a slow- paced bike ride procession in coordination with the  World Wide National Ride of Silence to honor those accident victims and to bring awareness to the cycling world.

Please join our local Conejo Valley Ride of Silence on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 in coordination with the World Wide National Ride of Silence (www.rideofsilence.org).  There are hundreds of locations worldwide. Our local ride will be meeting at 5:45 and departing at 6:00PM

As an international event, the Ride of Silence has taken place in various locations across the globe since 2003. The ride is intentionally solemn and slow paced, with cyclists going no faster than 12 mph and participating silently. In keeping with the importance of the occasion, all cycling groups and individuals are also welcome to participate.

There will be police escorts. We will meet safely with masks at the Thousand Oaks Mall:
Parking available around Pedals & Pints Brewing Company

Come on out in numbers to show your support for our local cycling community.
