Upcoming Away Rides
Oct 27 & 29 Phils Fondo:  http://www.philsfondo.com/
Nov. 3, Mike Nosco Memorial Ride:  https://mikenosco.com/

Please note ride leaders cell phone numbers in the event you need support during your ride.
Remember ride leaders phone numbers are a courtesy.  They may not be able to hear the phone through heavy breathing and a sweaty jersey.
All riders are expected to know the day's route.  Alert your ride leader if you are going to "take it slow", or alter your route.

Question of the week: Who is Mr. Hodoose?

Just a guy who likes to ride his bike, and sometimes enter the “pain cave”.  I have a personality defect in that I do not remember names.  Don’t take it personally.  Yes I have met you.  Yes I know you, I just don’t remember your name.

I like to joke around and have a good time.  I’m a little dry and very sarcastic.  I have been known at times to offend people.  If I offend you, please know I did not mean to.

If you have any suggestions or requests, please let me know.  I will always listen.  I do believe there are stupid questions; but I have been known to be stupid myself, so ask it anyway.  Hodoose@gmail.com

When riding with us:

·      wear helmets and ensure your bike is in good working order

·      stay in bike lanes and no more than two abreast on them; single file otherwise

·      not overlap wheels

·      descend carefully!  Look out for debris, animals, potholes, tight bends, and slick spots

·      pass slower riders on the left

·      ride predictably: signal when changing lines and call out hazards

·      avoid bunching up

·      respect all traffic rules and the rights of motor vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians

·      Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride.  Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
