[image: Inline image 1] Hi CVCrs, I know you have all heard from Sheri about the CVC Picnic Ride and Benefit slated for May 6th by now, and we are very excited to be able to bring this event to fruition. Your CVC team has been working hard to put together a really exciting ride and social experience for you, and your family. Let me tell you what you can expect. Let's start with the ride. We have 2 great routes to choose from. when we laid them out, we wanted something that would challenge (but not overly) our riders. These routes are fun, scenic and beautiful. The 75 mile grand tour cruises through the heart of the Conejo Valley, through the spectacular farmlands of the Moorpark and Camarillo areas and down the coast along Pacific Coast Hwy. The piece de resistance is the run into the Santa Monica Mtns via Encinal Canyon and back into town on Decker/Westlake. The 50 mile route takes another avenue and follows the picturesque Lynn Rd corridor to Portreo Rd and into Camarillo. It then joins the 75 Mile route down the Pacific Coast Hwy, over Encinal Cyn and back into town. This route can also be shortened to a 25 mile (approx) route for those that want a nice ride through the West end of the Conejo Valley. Along with our great routes will be SAG support that will make sure you have what you need, or to get you back if you need a lift for whatever reason. To make sure you stay fueled, we will have stocked rest stops along the way. You will find all the goodies you need to keep you rolling at your optimum throughout the morning. And the best part is the sense of accomplishment that you feel after completing a fabulous ride that may be a milestone distance for you, or just a great day with your friends. But..the fun doesn't stop there! when you get back, we will have lunch being served fresh from one of the L.A. areas famous gourmet food trucks. This is the fun part that your family can join in and help celebrate the day with us. Alll afternoon we will have great music playing, a beer garden, raffles and give-a-ways, and all of your CVC brothers and sisters to share your adventure with.
