CVC Orange Ride -- Saturday, March 27th, 8:30 AM I will be unavailable this weekend and would appreciate if someone would lead. Please let me know if you would like to lead this ride? Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner) for announcements; promptly at 8:30 AM, then split into our groups to depart. Route: Cornell, Mulholland, Piuma, Seven Minute Hill ad returning through Calabasas. Regroups: Rolling re-group at Mulholland and Cornell. Re-group at King Gillette Ranch for restrooms and water. Re-Group at the top Stunt water at driveway on left. Re-Group at the top of Seven Minute Hill for water. Re-Group at McDonald's Agoura Road, for restroom and water. The Orange is an Intermediate to advanced ride, 40+ miles in length. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. This is a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. We will regroup regularly and to allow everyone a chance to ride together. Things to have: Helmet !!! - Water to complete the ride or at least to reach the next water stop - Tools to perform minor repairs -Chain repair linkage - Inner-tube and pump (or the like) - Cellular phone - Food to replenish energy. Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride. Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd. (between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market.
