CVC Saturday Red/Orange Away Ride -- Saturday, October 13th, 9:00 AM Location; Buelton: 101 North to Buelton exit at Highwat 246; turn right and park in the Albertsons Parking Lot. Ride departs at 9:00 AM. Carpool can be arranged. Ride leaders for this ride will be: Jim Doane Gary Feldstein Norm Weir The Red/Orange is an Intermediate to advanced ride, 40+ miles in length. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. This is a "drop ride" so please understand the route before you start (and how to get back). As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe ride. We will regroup regularly and to allow everyone a chance to ride together. Things to have: Helmet !!! - Water to complete the ride or at least to reach the next water stop - Tools to perform minor repairs -Chain repair linkage - Inner-tube and pump (or the like) - Cellular phone - Food to replenish energy. Inclement weather policy: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ride in these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride. Please remember to park in the area along Westlake Blvd. (between the street and the first driveway aisle) and not in the area in front of the Shops/Market.
