Hellow all There will be a local ride tomorrow for those who do not have the time or legs to do the away ride from Ventura. Mike Carey (805-907-2850) will lead the ride starting at 9.00 from Starbucks. Route is intended to be short so we’re done before it gets too hot. Those who are interested can also do an up/ down Treasure Hill before the regroup at the end of Hidden Valley Rd. and/ or add additional lake lap(s) at the end. Below is an excellent idea that Mike Carey and several others have suggested . Given that riders of differing levels may want to join we’ll try out a process where we self-seed into two groups before the start. Assuming all the faster paced riders aren’t doing the away ride, those who want a faster paced ride will leave a couple of minutes before those of us who want a more mellow pace. Hopefully we then have two groups each riding together rather than a single group that gets spread out with some people off the back and others waiting a long time at regroups. We can all come together to socialize before and after the ride. Those of you who may have dropped out of these rides as the pace has crept upwards in recent times are welcome to come back out and see if this process works for you. Regards Terry
