*CVC PURPLE RIDE -- Saturday, August 31st, 8:30 AM* Meeting at Citibank Parking Lot - Westlake Village -- Westlake Blvd. & Agoura Road (North East Corner) for announcements; promptly at 8:30 am, then split into our groups to depart. *Dharmendra Khanolkar & Kay Fields will be ride leader this week.* *Route: Lobo Canyon Loop via Agoura-Cornell; back thru Triunfo Cyn; 19.3 Miles; 1,019 Feet **For a detailed map and route slip, go to: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/289399** *The *Purple Ride* is an entry level ride no one is dropped; however, if you are not planning on completing the route please inform the ride leader. Average distance is less than 25 miles at a pace of less than 12 MPH. It is mandatory to have & wear a helmet. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the helmet is in good condition. *This is a "no drop **ride**" however, please try to stay together. As always we will try to stick together & have a fun safe **ride**. We will regroup regularly to allow everyone a chance to ride together.* ** *Inclement weather policy*: In the interest of safety, whenever it is either actively raining or the ride route has wet roads, it is our club policy to cancel a club ride. Club members may still choose to meet and ridein these conditions; however, the ride will not be considered an official club ride.
