CVC/Team in Training group ride--Saturday, Novembers 1st, 8:30 AM at The Landing Hey CVC’rs, “Some come for the exercise, some come to support a friend or family fighting cancer, and some come because Team in Training funded the drug that saved their life.” Come out and be part of the CVC/Team in Training (TNT) group ride on Saturday, November 1st at 8:30 am at The Landing (the usual ride start location). CVC is partnering with TNT to raise awareness and help kick off their official training calendar. This group of TNT riders will be preparing for the Lavaman Olympic Distance Tri in Kona, HI on March 29, 2015. TNT participates in Lavaman and other endurance events throughout the year to fundraise, raise awareness, and support the work of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Their official training calendar starts on Nov 15th but, TNT has graciously accepted our invitation to share the day riding with us. Founded in 1949, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, providing education, and patient services.
