Hi All, I would like to give a big thank-you to *Chuck Conejo* for representing CVC on the City of Thousand Oaks *Bicycling Advisory Team (BAT)*. Chuck has dedicated his time this past year to attend meetings and stay informed on issues that directly impact cycling safety and infrastructure in our local area. These are some of the items included on the most recent agenda: 1. General comments and concerns about cycling in the City 2. TOPD Updates 3. Thousand Oaks Transit Updates – New sixth route planned for 2026 4. 2026 Pavement Program & Restriping – Preview of draft bike lane improvements currently under plan check review 5. Active Transportation Plan (ATP) Update – Draft ATP expected to be circulated in early January 2026 6. Status updates on capital projects: a. Lynn Road Bike Lanes and Pedestrian Improvements (CI 5660) b. Traffic Signal at Avenida De Los Arboles / Avenida De Las Plantas (CI 5597) c. Bike Improvements on Olsen Road / SR-23 Undercrossing (CI 5724) 7. Next BAT Meeting – January 15, 2026 (Tentative) Chuck is now retiring from this position, and we are *looking for a new volunteer* to attend these quarterly (I believe) meetings on behalf of CVC. It’s important that we continue to have representation—other local clubs do, and we should as well. If you are willing to attend these few meetings throughout the year, your participation would be truly appreciated by all. The long-term benefits directly impact your riding experience and that of the entire community. *Please consider stepping up!* Thank you so much! -- Sheri
