*Calling All Riders – We Need More Ride Leaders!* In many cycling clubs, leadership rotates so that everyone shares the responsibility. At CVC, we’ve been relying on just a few members, and now it’s time to spread the load and grow our leadership team. You might be thinking: *“I can’t do this. I don’t know where to go. I don’t know HOW to lead.”* That’s where we come in. *We’ll help every step of the way!* - *Training:* Kent will be hosting a Ride with GPS/Zoom training soon.Contact me if you would like to attend on October 5th - *Resources:* Our Ride Director, Jerry, is an expert at creating and finding routes. Plus, most are already on our Ride with GPS site. - *Support:* We’ll provide guidance on route planning, safety talks, and even ride shadowing until you’re comfortable. - *Flexibility:* Lead shorter or simpler rides to start. You don’t need to be the fastest—many leaders lead from the middle! - *Community:* Plan a coffee stop or lunch afterward—it’s a great way to make the ride social. Our *Safety Committee* is also preparing tips to help you feel empowered and confident both as a rider and a leader. 👏 Shout-out to *Mellow Yellow* for their rotating leader calendar!
